10th Symposium for Fuel Cell and Battery Modelling and Experimental Validation

The 10th Symposium on Fuel Cell and Battery Modeling and Experimental Validation (ModVal 10) was held on March 19-20, 2013 in Bad Boll/Stuttgart, Germany.

The aim of the ModVal symposium series is to present and discuss recent advances of the mathematical modelling of electrochemical cells, as well as experimental techniques for model validation. In 2013, ModVal has celebrated its 10th anniversary. The meeting had 123 participants, sharing a total of 57 oral and 20 poster presentations. Invited plenary lectures were given by:

  • Nigel P. Brandon, Imperial College London
  • Chao-Yang Wang, Penn State University
  • Ralph E. White, University of South Carolina
